How to Print an Email From Outlook Online
Every Microsoft Office user should know how to print emails from Outlook and Outlook.com. The desktop version also allows you to print email attachments directly from Outlook.
Outlook on the web provides a printer-friendly version of every message without ads and visual clutter. To send a message from Outlook online to your printer:
Open the email message you want to print, then select the three dot menu at the top of Outlook. com. Select Print. The message opens in a new window and is formatted for printing. Select Print. In the Printer dialog box, choose the pages to print, the layout or orientation, and the number of copies, then select Print.
How to Print From the Outlook App
Follow these steps to print an email using the Outlook email client:
Open the email you want to print, then go to File > Print. Alternatively, use the shortcut Ctrl + P on Windows or ⌘ + P on a Mac to bring up the Print menu. Select Print to print the email right away, or select Print Options. Select the number of pages or copies to print, change the page setup if you want, choose a printer, then select Print. To print attachments, make sure Print attached files is selected. Attachments print to the default printer.
Alternate Ways to Print Attachments in Outlook
There are two additional ways to print attachments in the Outlook desktop application:
Open the email and right-click the attachment icon, then choose Quick Print from the drop-down menu. Alternatively, select the attachment, then select Attachments > Quick Print on the ribbon. The attachment will print to the default printer.
