Frame rate, resolution, and general bugs have plagued Diablo Immortal since launch. Luckily, various tweaks and adjustments can help optimize your device to ensure you have the best gaming experience.

Check Your Graphics Options

For the most common issues with Diablo Immortal, your first point and call are the Graphics options.

To reach Graphics options, first, ensure that you Enter World with your Diablo Immortal character. You cannot access the Graphics options from the main menu.

Once you have loaded into the World, hit the tab icon at the top-right of your display. From here:

Hit the Settings icon and navigate down the left-hand menus to Graphics.

From the Graphics menus, you can see various options that adjust Diablo Immortal’s performance. For the most prevalent performance issues, options for Frame Rate, Resolution, and Graphics Settings are most useful to you.

To help smooth out your gameplay, heighten your Frame Rate from 30FPS to 60FPS to ensure that animations and visuals run as well as possible. However, if your device is struggling to run the game at 60 FPS, it may be beneficial to lower the Frame Rate setting and reduce the demand Diablo Immortal places on your mobile device.

Aside from Frame Rate, change the Resolution setting to help improve your visual experience. Switch your Resolution to Ultra to ensure you are getting the optimal amount of pixels on your screen at all times. Lower your Resolution to Low for a quick and easy way to help Diablo Immortal run more efficiently on your device.

For further optimization, the Diablo Immortal Graphics Settings menu may further improve your experience.

The Graphics Settings are multiple preferences that both heighten or alleviate the strain Diablo Immortal takes on your mobile device.

Graphical options like Visual Effects, Fog, and Bloom Effect are great ways to improve Diablo Immortal’s immersion but demand more of your mobile device and could potentially cause the game to slow or crash. Comb through each option to optimize your experience.

You can turn these settings On or switch them to High for a more impressive experience and turn them Off or switch them to Low to reduce the strain on your device.

Run Diablo Immortal’s Repair Client

If you have checked all the potential settings that may be hampering your experience of Diablo Immortal, a bug or glitch with the game itself may be the cause of your issues.

In this case, Diablo Immortal recommends using its Repair Client to help highlight and fix issues caused by bugs. To find the Repair Client:

Load Diablo Immortal’s Main Menu and select the small icon on the right side of the screen depicting a wrench and screwdriver.

You will then see the prompt: “repair process will start automatically the next time you launch the game.” Hit Ok and Diablo Immortal automatically closes down.

Reload the game, and you will see “Repair Client” in the bottom-left corner of the loading screen. This ensures your game is checking that everything is working as expected and minimizes the chance of bugs or glitches interfering with your experience.

Other Known Diablo Immortal Tips and Issues

If you still find issues with your experience with Diablo Immortal, it may be useful to check Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal system requirements to ensure your device can run the game.

At the time of writing, there is an issue affecting Samsung devices, like the Galaxy S10 range, that prevents the game’s visuals from rendering correctly so be wary. However, we should expect a fix later in 2022.

To supplement your mobile gaming experience outside of Diablo Immortal’s in-game settings, connect a controller to your Android device and play with the ease and comfort of an Xbox or PlayStation. Or, if you want to capture your own gameplay or live stream Diablo Immortal use Game Dashboard on your Android 12 device.

Utilize Your Improved Diablo Immortal Experience

With Blizzard promising further updates and patches to Diablo Immortal, your experience with the game should continue to improve.

Now you know how to optimize Diablo Immortal, you can focus on getting the most out of mobile gaming and engage in the growing movement that is the mobile games industry.
